MADDIE

Maddie is a registered ACA counsellor and embodiment coach, with a Master of Counselling qualification.

Drawing upon knowledge deriving from counselling studies, yoga teacher training and embodiment coaching training, her counselling sessions incorporate psychology, neuroscience, expressive arts, mindfulness and somatic work.

Maddie’s sessions are guided by the notion that we are always, at all times, whole, yet often-times lose connection with ourselves due to complex, multi-layered reasons. In the process of disconnection from ourselves, we disconnect from sensations in our body.

When we learn to feel into and listen to our bodies, this is where our deepest subconscious memories, experiences, patterns and beliefs may be drawn to the surface to be met, acknowledged and released. This awareness and welcoming of our feeling senses is how we learn to come back and connect to ourselves, whilst liberating and rewiring new patterns, programs and beliefs within us.

Maddie’s sessions are guided by the notion that each of us are sovereign and autonomous, and working with the body means that you are truly the one who holds the wisdom and knowledge for what you specifically require. The space she creates is one where this exploration is delved into safely and non-judgementally to begin to unravel and inhabit the full spectrum of who we are.
